100 Words Challenge

I woke up and I got ready to go on a bike ride. When I was riding my bike I came across a lot of rivers. I went back home and got ready for work. I am a nurse and after I got ready I woke up my children and got them ready for school. I dropped my kids off at school and I went to work like I normally do. When I finished work I went to pick up my kids. When we got home I made them dinner after we had dinner I put my kids to sleep and I went for a bike ride again. While I was on my bike ride it was still light out while I was on my bike ride I went pass a beach and the sun was setting. I went and sat on the sand and watched the sun set.

On Christmas Eve there was an old man that was going to get on a train and go to his family for christmas. On the night that the old man was going to go, they canceled his train .When he got on his train and they were about to leave the train station, the driver  that was in the front told everyone to get off of the train because the railway was frozen .When he got off ,he went and sat on a dusty bench and was holding something that his family gave him. While he was sitting there he saw his family and started to cry.

Welcome to term 4

The Worst Holiday Ever 

In the holidays I was suppose to go up north because my aunt and uncle lives up there. I didn’t go up north because I had to get a lot of things ready for college next year. When I heard that we were not going up north I thought this holiday was going to be really boring. After the first week of the holiday I did nothing but then I heard my mum say that I should go up north by myself because it would be good because she needs to be  able to learn how to look after herself. I didn’t go because my aunt said that it would be to dangerous for me to go by myself.

Vocabulary

In class we were writing down new words that we could have used in our writing.

Calm: Calming,Calmed,Calmly

Announce: Announced,Announcing,Announcement

Admire:Admiring,Admired,Admire,Admirably

Perform: Performed,Performance,Performing

That is what I put on our classes vocabulary wall.

Highlight of the Jubilee

On Sunday the 16th of September my school had our

60th Jubilee and it was the 62 year for the church.

The school had a mass and then we went to the

hall for the culture dances there was Maori, Samoan,

Cook Island,Tongan and Fijian.

My highlight was the Tongan group because I liked

how they started with a low beat song and then they

did an up beat song and ended with Fiapo

doing her dance that she did for the competition s

he was in.The Tongan group went before my group.

I liked the the low beat song because they were dancing

to the beat and they were on point. I also liked it because

they were calm about the dance and they only put some

of their energy into that dance because they needed some

energy for their other dance.

I admired their upbeat song and dance because

they put a lot of energy into it and when they were

doing the dance they were calm and they were moving

around a lot. When they were standing still they

would sway side to side.

I loved when Fiapo’s dance because she was

doing the dance so graceful and she was smiling

a lot and she didn’t laugh when people were dancing

in the front of the stage with her. When Mrs tui said that

Fiapo was going to do her dance everyone stood up and

started shout out GO FIAPO!! and when she started to

dance people started to calp BANG.She kept son dancing

when people came up and put money on her when they

were supposed to put money into the basket in front of her.

That was my highlight from yesterday because

I really I mean really liked their dance.
